Imperial Mountain Silver Needle Yellow Tea (Pre Qing Ming Jun Shan Yin Zhen)

 

This is one of China's most famous teas and was a favourite of Chairman Mao. Its production is extremely limited as it is only produced on Jun Shan Island in Hunan Province. This is the first crop composed entirely of perfectly formed, tender buds that were picked, withered and fired in late March.
